The festival becomes a journey for all senses
From enjoying casual fare to reveling in the summer air, from delighting
in the lake view to listening to incredible artists, Music by the Lake
is the ultimate experience for all senses. More than just musical
events, the festival is a place to enjoy an entire afternoon or evening
with family and friends, whether you bring your own picnic spread on the
lawn or enjoy dining on campus.
New this year, Music by the Lake
introduces casual dining options for concertgoers. Easily accessible
food booths provide a convenient way to have a snack or refreshment
before or during the show. Located near the Ferro Pavilion, the booths
will feature items from local businesses including pizza provided by
Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza; kettle corn, funnel cakes and freshly
squeezed lemonade from Nina’s Popcorn Shop; and Italian nachos, Italian
beef sandwiches and mini cannoli presented by Gino’s East.
Additional menu options are available at the College Inn,
located west of the Ferro Pavilion. Open before and during the
performances, the restaurant includes an indoor, air-conditioned dining
area, as well as tables and chairs outside. A la carte items such as
sandwiches, salads, soups, burgers, snacks, fruit, ice cream as well as
bottled soda and water are available for purchase.
These new menu
items are a great choice for a pre-concert dinner or can accompany a
pre-packed picnic on the lawn. As always, guests may bring their own
food, drinks, chairs, roll-up picnic tables, small coolers and other
picnic items in the lawn seating areas.
